How It Works

The process is straightforward, yet robust. When employees join our team and enroll in the photo time clock system, their initial photos become the reference set for the entire time clock system. Each time an employee interacts with the timeclock, it conducts two important functions. First, it references the employee’s biometrics against the reference photos, confirming the employee punching matches his or her own records. Next, it compares the employee’s biometrics against all other biometric references in the entire database that have been stored and maintained in compliance with applicable law. This comparison is intended to confirm that the employee has never punched or worked under a different identity anywhere in the country. A well-functioning biometric system needs both functions to properly augment an employer’s compliance goals. Every timeclock interaction triggers the system’s algorithm to compare new photos with the reference set, confirming the employee’s identity and building accuracy into the dataset.

Our Biometric system deters former employees from re-entering the workforce through new, potentially stolen identities. The system’s ability to relate the biometric similarities of one employee to another current or former employee strengthens our anti-identity theft programming and provides a proactive solution to identifying and beating identity theft. Any biometric system that cannot connect the dots between current and former employee biometric records exposes employers and may provide a false sense of security.
