PSSI and Our Communities: Shared Vision and Values

Whenever I have the opportunity to visit the communities we serve, I am always energized and amazed at how engaged PSSI team members are volunteering their time with local organizations to make a significant impact in neighborhoods across the country.

The Hazel Green Food Bank is a perfect example. PSSI has had a long-standing partnership with the food bank – which services many small communities near our corporate office in Kieler, Wisconsin. PSSI recently donated $5,000 to Hazel Green so they could restock food and supplies for families.

PSSI is also a proud sponsor of this year’s Arkansas Food Bank formal gala known as The Empty Bowls. The money raised from the gala will help provide roughly 280,000 meals every day to families in need. PSSI’s sponsorships and charitable giving are year-round efforts — we will also be volunteering at Pop-Up Pantries and a Fall Pack-a-thon for community members.

Finally, educating and nourishing young minds are priorities PSSI strongly supports in our communities. I had the recent honor of delivering a $125,000 donation on behalf of PSSI to the Waterloo Schools Foundation in Iowa. Its Career Center provides skills-based training for a variety of high-demand career paths in fields like Agri-Science, PowerTech, and Criminal Justice.

PSSI is proud to partner with communities and will continue to do all we can to help meet their needs – by engaging actively and purposefully. We hope you’ll join us – because in many ways, we’re just getting started.
