The Noguera Falcon family’s journey is full of incredible achievements, especially for Yahimir Noguera Falcon, a dedicated food safety sanitor at PSSI, whose twin daughters, Natalia and Paola, are now embarking on their college journey thanks to the PSSI Scholarship.
For Yahimir, this scholarship represents more than just financial support; it provides hope for her family’s future. “We are overwhelmed with gratitude,” she shares. “This scholarship is a lifeline for my daughters and opens the door for many opportunities.”
Their story is one of resilience and determination. After seeking refuge in the United States, the Noguera Falcon family encountered numerous challenges. Yet, Yahimir, drawing from her own educational background in Venezuela, remained faithful in her belief in the power of education. She instilled this belief in her daughters, encouraging them to pursue their dreams against all odds.
Now, at 18, Natalia and Paola are ready to make their mark in the world. Paola dreams of following in her father’s footsteps to become a veterinarian, while Natalia aspires a career in business, with ambitions of one day joining the PSSI team as a manager. Both sisters have been accepted into Lone Star Community College in Houston.
The PSSI Scholarship not only fulfills academic aspirations but also embodies the spirit of the American dream.
